Impact Water Products, an A.O. Smith company, is a wholesale distributor for water treatment dealers and water quality professionals. From our warehouse in Ontario, California, we supply control valves, softener and filter systems, reverse osmosis, UV, chemical feed pumps, media and replacement parts from brands dealers know, including Clack, Fleck/Pentair, Autotrol, Stenner, Viqua and Luminor.

Meet Our Technical Director: E. Allan Horner, MWS

​

Allan has been in water treatment since 1988. His experience spans field service, repair and installation of residential, commercial and industrial POU and POE systems, plus ten years working on USP-grade purified water and WFI systems, cooling towers, steam boilers and industrial water. Dealers call him for help with softeners, filters, commercial reverse osmosis, boilers, cooling towers, pharmaceutical, car wash and hospitality applications, from simple fixes to complex systems.

Allan holds the Master Water Specialist (MWS) certification from the Water Quality Association. He is a past President of the Pacific Water Quality Association (PWQA) and served on its board for many years. In 2024 he received the WQA Award of Merit for exceptional service to the water quality improvement industry. He regularly leads training seminars and trade show presentations.

​

Off the clock, Allan enjoys family time, ice hockey, softball, electric unicycle riding and off-roading his 1985 Jeep CJ.
